• Homogenizer (tank-mounted) — Batch, in the tank; axial-in/axial-out head, reversible. For dispersions and emulsions where a standard agitator can't get the result or the cycle time.

• Pipeline mixer — Continuous in-line; single or multi-stage rotor-stator heads; industrial and sanitary models. For in-line homogenization, particle size reduction, and dispersion.

• Colloid mill — In-line or batch-continuous; rotor-stator gap adjusted on the fly by hand wheel. For milling solids and liquids into a carrier; stable emulsions to the submicron range.

How do I choose between a homogenizer, pipeline mixer and colloid mill?

Start with how you run. Batch tank: the tank-mounted homogenizer. Continuous line where every drop must pass the shear zone: the pipeline mixer, because the whole stream goes through the mixing head with no bypass. Need to tune shear rate and particle size during production: the colloid mill, because the gap is adjustable and the dial makes the setting repeatable.

What construction is standard?

316 SS wetted parts, Stellite bushings and explosion-proof motors are standard across the line. Sanitary tri-clamp connections are available on the pipeline mixer and the colloid mill.
