Kenics sanitary static mixers include the removable KMR mixer and the removable sanitary Kenics heat exchanger. The KMR uses alternating helical elements for flow division and radial mixing, and the heat exchanger uses the same elements to improve heat transfer in a sanitary shell-and-tube design. The KMR is built from 316L stainless steel with sanitary ferrule connections and a 3A certified design. Sizes from 0.5 to 4 inches are in stock, and mirror-finish elements are available. The sanitary heat exchanger is built to TEMA and ASME code, with 3A construction available. It reduces fouling and gives the product a uniform heat history.
