The 20HT is the right angle version of the Chemineer Model 20, and the 20GT is its parallel shaft companion. Chemineer designed the Model 20 gearbox for agitator duty, not general industrial use. It has a large-diameter low speed shaft between closely spaced bearings to handle impeller bending loads, plus a cast dry well seal that prevents oil leaks down the shaft. Its modular design can be tailored to processes from critical chemical reactor systems to storage applications, and it is designed to AGMA, ANSI, IEC, DIN and ATEX requirements.
