General Description

One-piece construction:

• Manhole cover with glass-lined protection ring

• Clamps galvanized and passivated

• Loose backing flanges on all nozzles

• PTFE envelope gasket

• Support by saddles

• Standard nozzles on manhole cover, others upon request

• Accessories : bottom outlet valve, Temperature probe, dip pipe, etc..., upon request

Glass-lining

• Vessel G2208 dark blue, light-blue or white

• Sigma glass anti-static electrically conductive glass in blue

• Phi glass thermally conductive glass in medium blue

Test and inspection of the glass-lining to DIN 28063

• Visual inspection

• Thickness testing

• Statiflux (electrified particle test)

• Spark test to ISO 2746 for vessels and accessories at up to 30.000V after glass-lining and again at 12.000V prior to shipment
